The Recreational Avelo Diver (RAD) specialty course teaches everything a diver needs to know to feel the freedom of diving Avelo. 

​

This two-part course consists of an online learning component and two in-water dives with an Avelo instructor.

What you need to know

 

  • Prerequisite Open Water certification

  • Ages 12 years old or older

  • Time commitment approximately18 hours​

  • Equipment The complete Avelo System available through Catalina Divers Supply​

  • You may qualify for college credit for this course

Online learning is part of this course.

You will need to complete your online learning before your in-water experiences.
